Can I book more than one session in the same day? No- Firstly we want to give everyone the opportunity to attend a class and with limited numbers this is the fairest way to do it. Secondly we wish to limit time in the gym for athletes due to toileting, cleaning, and contact time
How and when can I book 1:1/Private lessons? Group bookings will close on the Saturday of the week prior, those sessions that haven't been booked will become available as 1:1 sessions. Sundays will also be dedicated 1:1 time. The Bookwhen site will be updated for private lessons on Sundays
What level tumble should I book? Firstly talk to your athlete and read the descriptions of what tumbles will be worked on (these can be found on the bookwhen website when clicking the class) A second guide is what did they attend prior to lock-down Level 1 Ground Bound Level 2 GB+ Level 3+ Aerial
What should the athlete bring to the gym Athletes should bring minimal property as they will be expected to keep it in their 2 meter box. A named water bottle and a layer, such as a hoodie. We also suggest bringing their own stretch band, mat, ankle weights etc should the class require it
Why does the athlete need to come in their cheer shoes This is to aid with the minimal property, this is also due to social distancing and we will not be able to provide support with shoe laces (including the taking on and off of shoes) We suggest using an older pair during this time
Will the toilets be open Yes- however we kindly request that they are used during emergencies only and athletes where possible go at home before arriving to training.
Can parents stay for the session If you are bringing an athlete for a private lesson or an individual Athlete Assessment you will be required to stay For all group sessions it is drop off only Parents are welcome to wait in their vehicles outside on the rear carpark
When should I arrive for my session We ask that you arrive on time and wait to be greeted by a coach before entering the gym. If you are early please wait in your vehicle. If you are late we may not be able to accept you in to the session Please ensure athletes are collected on time from the rear car park- delay will result in us being under prepared for the following session
I'm an adult athlete with a car what do I do? For the sessions where you are with other adults we will allow you to park up and use the same entrance and exit. For a mixed session we kindly ask you park round the back and walk round (or run it could be your warm up)
Is PPE required? Will coaches be wearing PPE It is not recommended to exercise in face coverings or similar. If athletes wish to enter and exit the gym with a face covering they may do so, but must be the athletes own property and they will be responsible for it. Coaches will not be wearing PPE to coach, it will be available for emergency situations and cleaning where applicable
